Not quite as good as the other 2 books, in my opinion. This time Brown hardly mentions Catholicism, his focus is all on the Freemasons. Although I was surprised by the reverence with which he wrote of them. Again, lots of details for setting and background that really make the story come alive, but by this point I just found the storyline to be formulaic. Some madman tries to burn down the world, Robert and an attractive, intelligent woman his age stop him in the nick of time and fall in love. It just got old this time.
