I didn’t enjoy this book as much as I was expecting to, especially after successfully suspending disbelief all through “The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared”. I just couldn’t get into this book. I’m not sure if I just exhausted my supply of credulity or if it was that I didn’t care for the main character much. Either way, I was pretty disappointed for an international bestseller. But you can’t win them all and I don’t expect to enjoy everything everyone else does.
